" Forever " is an original song written by Deborah about losing a loved one. This is a studio recording from the late 1990's in Los Angeles. The late great blues artist Michael Carter on guitar.
The melody to Forever came to Deborah in a dream at 4am. She quietly got out of bed not wanting to wake the baby and went in to her office to record it on cassette tape.
The lyrics inspired by a psychic reading about her husband where the reader said "..he's followed you thru many lifetimes but this is the first lifetime you've come together. But he's choosing not to return next lifetime.", seemed to fit naturally with the sadness of the melody.
